WEEK 7 passion project REFLECTION

WEEK 7 REFLECTION
What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time?
Me and Fiona decided to make some cute edible snow mans with marsh mallows, pretzel sticks, orange flavoured gummy's and some long tooth picks to hold them all together. They turned out really good and also tasted really tasty.
What challenges did I have?
Me and Fiona had challenges with making holes to stick the pretzel sticks in because we didn't really know how big the holes needed to be so what we did was we tried to make holes with the spare tooth picks that we had.
What am I going to work on next week?
Next week we are going to try and pain some rocks based on Christmas them using some small rocks, a vivid to do an out line and some paint to fill in the gaps.We are also going to do some more research if we have time.

  2. make sure the right pedal is in line with the bar to take off.
  3. make sure your helmet is straped on tight.

Describe the three bike signals that Constable Ken taught us.

  1. right turn

  1. left turn

Music - E-portfolio Sample - Term 4 2018

Music - E-portfolio Sample - Term 4 2018

This term we have been learning how to play some new rhythms on our bucket drums.

We learnt to play the down beat where we play on each beat, it looks like this:

Then we learnt to play the front beat where we only play on beats 1 and 3, it looks like this:

We also learnt to play the backbeat where we only play on beats 2 and 4, it looks like this:

After we had practiced the beats we learnt to play along with some songs.

What do you think is the most important thing to do so that you stay in time when you are playing on the bucket drums?
I think you should try to learn all of the notes and tunes before you start to get in time you should also practice with the music.

Which song do you think would be good to play the bucket drums to and why?
I think a good song is hall of fame because I can hear some drums in the song and it sounds easy to play.

What could you do to improve your bucket drumming in the future?
I want to try and keep in time with everyone else and keep practicing the songs that i'm not very good at drumming to.

WEEK 7 REFLECTION

WEEK 7 REFLECTION

What Learning did you find challenging this week?
I found my writing challenging because we had to label all of four different bikes and I don't know a lot about bikes.

How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges?
I overcome this by asking my friend for help because they knew a lot about bikes and I tried to look really closely at the picture of the bikes.

What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week?
I am proud of my reading we were reading the boy on  the bike and he bike almost the whole Country.

Why are you proud if it?
I am proud of it because I spoke really loudly and clear and I also really liked the story.
