WEEK 7 REFLECTION

How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges?
I overcome this by asking my friend for help because they knew a lot about bikes and I tried to look really closely at the picture of the bikes.

What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week?
I am proud of my reading we were reading the boy on  the bike and he bike almost the whole Country.

Why are you proud if it?
I am proud of it because I spoke really loudly and clear and I also really liked the story.

weekly passion project reflection

WEEK 6 REFLECTION
What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time?
Me and Fiona made some candy cane reindeer's using candy canes, brown pipe cleaners, pom poms ,and goggly eyes. they turned out really good so we gave some to the teachers.

What challenges did I have?
Me and Fiona had trouble sticking the pompoms and googly eyes on because the hot glue kept on burning us. we also had trouble with shaping the pipe cleaners because they kept on gong out of shape.

What am I going to work on next week?
Next week me and Fiona are going to try and make a marshmallow snow man that you can put in hot chocolate. we will make them with marshmallows, chocolate, long tooth picks, gummies, and pretzel sticks.

My Passion Project title is…christmas crafts
Who am I working with? Ruby and Fiona

What are my big questions to guide my learning?
how to make fun Christmas crafts and what are he best ones to make?
I chose this particular topic because….(give three reasons why?)
We chose this because Christmas is coming up and we want to make some Christmas
What are some possible ways I could share my learning?  Choose 3 possible ways.

1) poster

2) slide show

3) diagram

What materials will I need to accomplish my task?
hot glue gun, tinsel, jars, candy/chocolate, paper, scissors, computer
What problems do I foresee occurring during this project and what will I do to solve them?
maybe we will not know how to make them so we will watch videos and find out what is the correct way to make them.
When problems come up, who can I contact for support / assistance? (Mentor)
we will find help from the teachers and maybe other people if they know how to make them or if they have done it before.
How will this project help me, my family, the community or the world?
it will help me understand hw to make crafts and it will also be really fun.
